Certification Congregation of Audiovisual Professionals at InfoComm 2013 Orlando, FL.

InfoComm 2013 will provide over 35,000 AV professionals the chance to make connections, gain knowledge to new technologies, and develop career-advancing training and certifications to help them lead in their workplace. InfoComm 2013 supplies real-world training and certification supplementation through the InfoComm International® Certified Technology Specialist™ (CTS®) program, to be held during the annual show taking place June 8-14 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL.

“Earning CTS certification are a way to easily represent knowledge and experience in the workplace and to potential customers,” said David Labuskes, CTS, RCDD, Executive Director and CEO, InfoComm International. “Offering the testing at the InfoComm show has proven invaluable to many AV professionals, providing a tangible ROI that extends well beyond the event.”

InfoComm has been organizing the CTS certification for over 30 years, and it is the most dependable and recognized program worldwide for commercial audiovisual professionals. This year, testing for the certification will be offered on site, as well as the design and installation advanced certifications (CTS-D®, CTS-I®). Registration for CTS exams can be found at infocommshow.org/cts.

For the first time InfoComm University™ preparation classes, will also take place on site for all three ANSI-accredited CTS credentials. While there is no guaranteed way to prepare for the CTS exams, test-takers who learn best in a classroom setting can sharpen their skills prior to sitting for the exams. Also, copies of McGraw-Hill’s second edition of the prominent CTS Exam Guide will be available at the InfoComm Show Store.

InfoComm 2013, the biggest commercial audiovisual show, expects over 35,000 attendees from comprehensive market sectors, including business, government, military, education, worship, healthcare, hospitality, retail and entertainment. Along with a trade show floor that displays the latest from all of the industry leaders in audiovisual, staging, signage and more, the educational programming provides attendees with convenience to hone skills and update certifications during the conference.
