Atlona unveils AT-HDVS-TX-WP and AT-HDVS-RX at InfoComm 2013 as a School or Business solution.

One of the greatest experiences about attending InfoComm 2013 is learning about new products as well as seeing and touching them. Our partner manufacturer Atlona unveiled a new extender designed for simple low-cost systems in schools and businesses. The unit below is the the AT-HDVS-TX-WP which allows you to connect HDMI and VGA/Audio Inputs.

 

What’s wonderful about this unit is what the input selections allows you to do. The Auto-Switch senses when inputs are connected or powered on/off. The Panel Button allows you to overwrite auto-switch and select the input you want. Also, 3rd Party Control via RS-232 connection will allow input control through a control box.

The  Projector Control will let you turn the projector on/off from the wall plate and optionally mute audio and video. With One Cable, no power is required at the wall plate. The Wall plate can be up to 230 feet (70 meters) from a display.

HDVS wall plates work best with the HDVS receiver/scaler. The AT-HDVS-RX receiver uses HDMI for connection of Audio and Video. Balanced Analog Audio De-embeds on captive screw connectors

This unit is also a Scaler which will assure compatibility of VGA and HDMI sources to any display. You can adjust the picture for best results and configure the output of the scaler to match the native resolution of the connected display with resolutions up to 1920×1200 or 1080p.

Another feature is the RS-232 connection to a projector, DB9 adapter included. The included software simplifies programming and a USB Port for seamless firmware updating. If the scaler is not connected to a source it will automatically go to Standby mode. Another option is that is included with this products is the Display Mute to turn the display on/off and mute the output with the display button. Also, a locking HDMI Connector and LED on the panel to confirm HDMI and HDBaseT links.
