Two new extenders in Hall Research’s arsenal: UH-1BTX & HR-731

Hall Research has always been one of the most prominent and cutting edge brands in the industry. An example is an addition to the BaseT-Cat brand video extension product line, the UH-1BTX extends HDMI or single link DVI video signal to 330 ft (70m) on a single Category 6 cable. The unit transmits video and embedded audio without any compression for a 100% lossless replication. The UH-1BTX supports Full-HD (1080p), deep color, 3D and 4K video with pass-thru EDID and HDCP support. Secondary data channels, such as DDC, CEC, and HPD (Hot-Plug Detect), are also transparently extended. Plug and play application with no user adjustments offer a hassle free experience. The units are compatible with all HDBase T™ and HDBase T™Lite compliant products.

Hall Research has also added a Fiber-Optic Extender for HDMI & RS-232. The HR-731 Sender and Receiver modules kit can extend HDMI and Bi-directional RS-232 up to 3280 ft on a single multi-mode fiber optic cable . The unit is HDCP compliant and supports HDMI 1.4 deep-color and 3D. EDID pass-through from the remote display to the source. LED status indicators show fiber-optic link, source video, RS232 or CEC extension. The safety interlock feature shuts off high-power fiber LED drivers unless a fiber-optic cable is plugged in at both ends. The unit has locking HDMI connectors and uses RS-232 for control of the data channel mode. The HR-731 can support  all PC (DVI) and HDTV resolutions. The Sender/Receiver modules are sheltered in robust and compact metal enclosures and include surface mounting provisions.
