The CE690 from Aten is a DVI Optical KVM Extender which
overcomes length restrictions of native DVI cables by
utilizing fiber optics to distribute HD video. It also
distributes audio and control signals via longer distances.
The CE690 can distribute KVM DVI signals up to 20 km distance
from the source. The System takes video/audio streams from
the local source and serializes the data to route it over one
single 3.125 Gbps optical link. It supports resolutions up to
1920 x 1200 @ 60Hz, 24-bits, with perfect picture quality.
