Gefen’s EXT-UHD600 Series of splitters is HDMI 2.0 Compliant and
allows resolutions of 4K@60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, together
with High Dynamic Range (HDR). It allows the advanced 4K system,
delivering stunning UHD and DCI/Cinema picture up to 4096 x 2160
pixels at 60fps without color subsampling. It ensures that the display
on the screen is 100% image replica of that captured on camera. HDR
enables all subtle, nuanced gradation of each pixel play out across
the display in immersive clarity. Gefen’s EXT-UHD600 product series
creates a seamless bridge between the digital media of yesterday,
today, and tomorrow.
It supports the digital rights management standard for UHD content,
HDCP 2.2, and HDCP 1.4, the EXT-UHD600 units can manage the signal
routing requirements for both existing and new components in
commercial AV and residential systems. It supports High-performance
multi-channel digital audio such as 7.1 channels of LPCM, and it also
supports High Bit Rate (HBR) digital audio formats like Dolby Atmos®,
Dolby® TrueHD, DTS:X™, and DTS-HD Master Audio™. These products are
specially designed to allow several layers of cascading for seamless
performance in a large video extension and signage applications,
allowing up to hundreds of displays.
Gefen’s unique Long Reach Power (LRP) feature offers 5V at 500 mA
(compared to HDMI standard 55 mA) on the HDMI outputs 1 and 2. The
increased current ability allows you to power the elected extender
products via their HDMI input port without the requirement of an
external power supply. Gefen’s EXT-UHD600 is compatible with Gefen’s
Syner-G™ software suite. With the Gefen Syner-G™ software, status
monitoring, EDID and HDCP management and firmware updates are easy.
The Gefen EXT-UHD600-18 splitter has a 1U high, rack-mountable
enclosure that you can place on a shelf. It accepts Gefen locking HDMI
cables for reliable connections.
