The Gefen's EXT-DVI-FM2000 is a DVI fiber-optic module
extender that routes DVI up to 3300 ft (1 km) to a display
allowing resolutions up to 3840 x 2400 (WUXGA). The Dual Link
Extender utilizes a single-strand 125/50um laser-optimized
multi mode (OM3) SC-terminated fiber optic cable. It features
optical signal transmission offering galvanic isolation and
immunity to electromagnetic interference as opposed to
similar copper based extension modules.
It includes a Virtual EDID feature to program the display
EDID into the Transmitter (Tx) module to ensure quick
