AV Composite Cables
Composite cables, otherwise known as RCA cables are an electrical connector typically used to carry audio and video signals. If you are wondering what RCA stands for, it is the Radio Corporation of America, which introduced the product and design in the 1940’s. Present day, RCA connectors are commonly found in the back of AV equipment, camcorders, DVD players, game consoles, TV’s and many other components. The purpose of an RCA cable consists of a power connector, composite video signals, loudspeaker connection, game console connector and also carrying S/PDIF-formatted digital audio and many more.
