VGA to DVI-A Cables
VGA to DVI-A (analog) cables are analog compliant cables that work with analog devices. The popularity of VGA to DVI-A cables came about when DVI was introduced and consumers wanted to upgrade their VGA analog components to work with a DVI standard. In addition, backward compatibility with displays using VGA signals contact with some of the DVI connector carrying the analog VGA signals. When purchasing this cable, make sure to not use them on DVI-D (digital) devices since they are only for analog.
