The EX-100-G2 is an HDBaseT HDMI extender pair designed to transmit high-resolution HDMI signals over a single Cat cable - delivering reliable long-distance video and control. It extends HDMI video up to 100 m/328 ft using Cat6a/7 cabling while preserving key control interfaces. This plug-and-play solution reduces cable clutter and simplifies installations.
The system supports 4K@60 4:2:0 8bit and a broad range of lower resolutions, plus multichannel audio formats up to PCM 7.1, Dolby TrueHD, DTS HD Master Audio, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. It includes bi-directional PoH so power can be applied at either the transmitter or the receiver. IR and RS-232 control pass-through and CEC support allow remote device control across the single cable link.
Performance is optimized for AV distribution with a maximum data rate of 6.75 Gbps and HDMI 1.4 signal handling. The extender supports 4K@30Hz native HDMI 1.4 modes as well as full VESA and SMPTE formats. Firmware is remotely updateable via the unit's toggle switch and RS-232 interface for field maintainability.
Connectivity includes standard HDMI inputs/outputs, a single HDBaseT RJ45 link over Cat5e/6/6A/7, 3.5 mm IR I/O and 3-pin phoenix terminals for RS-232 control. The included power supply (DC 18V/1A) powers the kit when required and the bi-directional PoH feature allows flexible power placement. The units also include mounting brackets for rack or surface installation.
