TV One’s C3-540 Series CORIO®master Enhances Video Systems w/ Processing Power

As of February 1st , the new CORIO®master  C3-540 Series video system starts shipping by TV One.

The new C3-540 provides a more efficient way of building video systems. Based on TV One’s latest  CORIO®3 technology it allows users to access new quality levels of video processing power, and more creative and dynamic video displays.

CORIO®3 Technology is a completely new approach to video scaling,  containing such features as Real-Time, Image Warping that allows Off-Axis and Curved Screen Projection, 360° Rotation (independent for all PIPs and outputs), and Simultaneous Multiple Image Processing. These features are to an addition to ones currently present in CORIO®2, such as Video Wall Processing, Edge Blending, Any Resolution or Format In or Out, Up/Down/Cross Conversion, Windowing or Multiviewing. CORIO®3 lets these features to happen simultaneously with two frames of maximum delay.

With CORIO®master, a 4RU chassis, the single device can do the job for all of the following: seamless switchers, multi-viewers, routers, video wall processors, image rotators and warpers, and edge blenders. This leads to a reduced power consumption and takes professional video market to the new level of environmental standards. Power consumption can be reduced for up to 90%, due to incorporating several tasks from different devices into a single unit.

There are 16 Universal AV Module slots in the C3-540 available. Inserted modules automatically recognized by CORIOmaster as either output or input modules. Up to 32 I/0’s are allowed in this setup. Because of no dedicated output or input slots while using 2-Channel DVI-U or 3G-SDI modules, configuration can range anything in between 30×2 to 2×30. Such a wide range of configurations allows end user to satisfy every need. Also, additional 3G-SDI and DVI-U modules can be added without a need to reset the device. The new Universal DVI-U format suits HDMI, RGB, DVI, YPbPr, and Composite S-Video. Every AV module is swappable, hot, and recognized for immediate auto configuration.

The modules that are selected determine what format will be accommodated and the matrix size.

There are also independent Up, Down and Cross conversion, provided by CORIO®master, for every analog or digital format output through WUXGA and 3G-SDI. The format that will be accommodated, and the matrix size are determined by modules that are selected.
