Pump up the volume! The SoundTube IPD-SM52-EZ-BK is an indoor/outdoor weather-resistant two-directional surface mount speaker. Perfect for IP-addressable audio networks on the Dante™ platform. SoundTube’s surface mount speaker features a 5.25 inch polypropylene woofer along with a one-inch soft dome tweeter. It has uniform high frequency dispersion by using SoundTube’s patented BroadBeam Ring® technology, designed for music and messaging over a wide area. The speaker distributes power, audio, and control to the device via CAT5/6 cables. The cable links to the STNet™ switch, offering 40W PoE to the speakers. DSP management with crossover, EQ, and time correction can all be done through the web.

 

 

The IPD-SM52-EZ-BK has a detachable mounting bracket capable of pre-mounting in surface-mounting applications. The high sensitivity and full frequency distribution model ensures the speaker is perfect for retail, hotels, airports, schools, casinos, and for paging and music in restaurants. For extreme weather applications, available accessories (port plug and stainless bracket) are available to make a waterproof, IP-rated audio system.

SoundTube’s surface mount speaker is also available in white (IPD-SM52-EZ-WH) and in 8-inch speakers (IPD-SM82-EZ-II-BK, IPD-SM82-EZ-II-WH).
