Kramer Acquires iRule – Control System Provider for iOS & Android

The ultimate home automation control system provider for iOS and Android devices, iRule merges AV titan, Kramer Electronics. In 2015, Kramer partnered with iRule to implement their software to develop Kramer Control. The Kramer Control platform is the first advancedcloud-based platform for control and automation of room elements and any AV system by the manufacturer.

Previously, commercial integrators would recommend 3rd-party control systems such as AMX or Crestron to implement into Kramer products. Of course, the end-user still has a choice and may still employ 3rd-party control systems. However, Kramer Control powered by iRule is now a primary option.

Why iRule?

During InfoComm 2016, Kramer debuted iRule-based solutions, and the result, five ‘best-of’ awards that Kramer took home from the show. The move to acquire iRule and subsidiary, ON Controls is a strategic move towards progression for both parties.

“We are pleased to solidify our partnership with iRule and to further strengthen Kramer’s presence in room automation, control, and management solutions. Kramer Control is a major breakthrough, introducing the most cutting-edge modern technologies into a world that has not changed for years,” said Aviv Ron, VP Business Development and Strategy at Kramer. “The difference is in the architecture and extensive cloud leveraging, which translates to value for both the user and installer – from the ease of use in the build and admin functions and end-user experience in a room to data capture and analytics reporting,” added Ron.

We are excited for Kramer and can’t wait to see their arsenal of innovative products on the next 2017 tradeshow.
