InfoComm 17 – AJA To Unveil New HDR Workflow Devices

AJA Video Systems will be exhibiting their latest technology and workflow solutions at InfoComm 17 this June in Orlando, FL. They will be showcasing exciting products and updated technology from their booth, #913. We were lucky enough to get a preview on these new solutions which we’ve covered below.

First and foremost, AJA’s Ki Pro Ultra Plus is a Multi-Channel Apple ProRes recorder which features 4-Channels of simultaneous HD recording. On the same token, this unit can also provide Single-Channel mode 4K/UltraHD/2K/HD Apple ProRes recording and player. The latest connectivity standards including 3G-SDI, Fiber and HDMI 2.0 as well as high frame rate workflows such as 4K 60p are supported.

An updated RovoCam returns with its sleek, compact block design for corporate, security, industrial, ProAV and broadcast environment. Elegantly deliver uncompressed UtraHD/HD, stereo audio, RS-232, VISCA camera control and power over a single CAT5e/6 cable up to 100m. Rovocam is designed around Sony’s 4K camera module featuring a back-illuminated CMOS sensor and Sony image processing for excellent performance. Delivering this much functionality and power with a single cable connectivity simplifies installation, camera setup, and footprint requirements.

AJA will also bring an updated version of their mobile stand-alone streaming and recording device in the HELO. The HELO works with both 3G-SDI and HDMI for capture and wealth of ports for streaming to you CDN and recording to USB, SD, and network storage.

Lastly, AJA will showcase comprehensive tools for emerging HDR workflows in the FS-HDR. These exciting new solutions offer options for realtime HDR conversion, monitoring, and analysis. The FS-HDR is a universal converter/frame synchronizer designed specifically to meet the HDR and WCG (Wide Color Gamut) requirements of broadcast, OTT, post and live event environments, where realtime, low-latency processing and color fidelity is needed for 4K/UHD and 2K/HD workflows.
