To connect this device to your computer, you can plug into the HDMI ports, or you can use the USB-C port for 4K resolutions.

When you have connected your computer via HDMI or USB-C Inputs, connect your Display using the HDMI Output. Once achieving a picture, now connect your external Mouse and Keyboard peripherals to the standard USB-A ports. The BG-PS41-BYOD-4K offers a plug and play feature for simplified set-up.

Wireless BYOD

For wireless connectivity utilizing the “BYOD” feature, make sure to connect the switcher to the Network as well as your device, phone, tablet, or Laptop to join the switcher to the Network. Once connected, press the input button until the Miracast/Airplay input lights up. If using an Android device, go to settings and select “Smart View”.  The screen will show the SSID of the device connecting; within 30 seconds, you should have a picture. Also, if using an Apple device, find your “Control Center” and select “AirPlay Mirroring” and pick the Presentation Switcher, which by default, will have a generic name on the top of the TV Display. Again, within 30 seconds, you should achieve a picture.
