A family of 4K/UHD extenders from Atlona continue to roll out, including the AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT HDMI over HDBaseT with PoE.

Innovation was everywhere at this year’s Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) and so were the attendees, well over 60,000 of them. Our partner Atlona also attended ISE this year and we are excited to learn that they are releasing 4K/UHD devices. Today, we’d like to preview one of their extender kits, the AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT. The Atlona AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT is one of Atlona’s 4K/UHD extenders transmitting HDMI over HDBaseT up to 230 feet over category cable with PoE (Power over Ethernet).

Let’s take a closer look at this new innovation from Atlona. This brand new unit has the capability to upgrade your system and future proof with its power to support 4K/UHD from sources and displays. With HDBaseT technology integrated in the AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT, long distance HDMI extension is achievable up to 230 feet at 1080 and 130 feet at 4K/UHD. In addition, these 4K/UHD extenders from Atlona are compliant with HDCP 2.2, allowing protected content to stream pass devices. Another plus for saving on installation time and reducing clutter are the conveniently placed I/O connectors on the rear panel for simple wire management. On the front panel are LED indicators for power and status making the AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT 4K/UHD extenders easy to set up or troubleshoot. Let’s not forget the front panel USB port for upgrading the kit with the most recent software. All in all, the AT-UHD-EX-70-KIT is integrator friendly and is ideal for residential or commercial applications that require an HDBaseT signal transmission over long distances. Our agents are standing by if you’d like to  find out more about this remarkable product from Atlona technologies.
