Atlona unveils the AT-UHD-SW-52ED, a 5 input HDMI switcher with mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs plus PoE capability for 4K/UHD.

ISE 2015 was a big show for many manufacturers, developers and designers in our industry. We are ecstatic to hear that many of our partner brands attended with new products to showcase, including our friends from Atlona. We’d like to preview one of their newest switchers, the AT-UHD-SW-52ED.

Atlona’s AT-UHD-SW-52ED is a 5 input HDMI switcher with mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs with PoE capability. This unique new product supports dual display allowing local and extended distance up to 328 feet (100 meters) to HD displays. This feature benefits the customer with the cost associated with extra extension components while simplifying installation. In addition, the AT-UHD-SW-52ED is 4K/UHD capable supporting Ultra High Definition sources and displays. What we also love about this unit is its ability to auto switch reducing complexity and the need for a control system. HDBaseT technology powers this switcher to deliver 4K/UHD video, 100BaseT Ethernet, audio, control and power via a single CAT cable eliminating multiple cable runs between sources and display. With flexible control options including TCP/IP, RS-232 and IR control which is compatible with 3rd party control systems, users can be happy about saving money on integration costs. The AT-UHD-SW-52ED 5 input switcher includes all the bells and whistles you could ever want in an HDMI switcher with other features including EDID management, HDCP management and an easy GUI-based configuration. A volume indicator and volume controls allow for quick indication during setup. On top of that, this Atlona box is multi-channel audio compliant supporting PCM, LPCM, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS Surround and DTS-HD Master Audio allowing any multi-channel audio stream to be integrated with a pro audio system.
