ATEN VP2730 Enables An Intuitive Connection Experience

YT Liang, product manager at ATEN, showed off the VP2730 at InfoComm 2019. The VP2730 is a multi-in-one presentation switcher that combines a video matrix switch with scaler, streaming, HDBaseT extender, audio mixer, and analog-to-digital converter functions into a single compact unit. The VP2730 allows for larger meetings and enables collaboration between local and remote participants in lecture halls, video conferencing and board rooms, or distance learning classrooms. It can do all this with seven multi-format inputs and three outputs (two HDMI and one HDBaseT).

With users in mind, the VP2730 comes with a simple, accessible OSD and Web GUI. It allows users to streamline operation for local and remote participants. It facilitates collaboration and sharing with no distance limitations. Not only can the moderator share video content to five remote sites, but local and remote users can wirelessly stream in their content for discussion. Also, the moderator can monitor and switch between sources in either fullscreen, dual-, tri-, quad-view, or PIP modes with six sources displayed simultaneously on one display.

There are other advanced features in the VP2730. Moderator Mode enables the moderator to control other displays with the host display. Chat Room allows meeting communications. Screen Capture and Freeze controls and records meeting flow. The VP2730 presentation solution enables content sharing regardless of location with advanced audio. Basically simplifying AV integration by removing the need for individual components and the compatibility hurdles that accompany them.
