ADDERView 4 PRO DisplayPort KVM Switch

The AV4PRO-DP by Adder is designed to control four computers with DisplayPort  technology from a single KVM console. This KVM switch employs Adder’s True Emulation Technology which allows USB HID devices to be constantly emulated to each computer. It also allows instant and reliable hotkey switching, while supporting extra features and keys of enhanced mice and keyboards. The AdderView also features two USB 2.0 channels that switch independently (Low, Full and High speed) and audio channel, providing users with an option to attach peripherals to different computers.

DisplayPort Video Support

This switch is DisplayPort 1.1 compliant, which is important for enabling new digital display experiences. DisplayPort easily supports high end Full HD monitors that feature such resolutions as 1920×1080 with 60Hz refresh rate at 12 bits per color, 1920×1200 at 120Hz refresh rate, and 2560×1600 at 60Hz with 10 bits per color, over standard cables.

True Emulation USB2.0 Technology

The AV4PRO-DP comes from the first KVM family of switchers that features Adder’s advances True USB Emulation technology. This technology provides fast and reliable switching action and makes possible to switch hotkey and mouse. The previous implementations used only generic emulations and therefore were able to support only basic mouse and keyboard features. The True Emulation technology can overcome these limitations by emulating the true character of the devices connected to all computers simultaneously. Now users can employ the extra function keys, buttons, wheels on modern mice and keyboards. The AV4PRO makes it possible for users in Graphic design, Animation, Post production and Architecture to use specialized interface devices like joysticks, 3D explorers and graphic tablets.

Independent Simultaneous Device Selection

The flexibility of AdderView Pro switch allows using the KVMA console to work on one computer, while speakers playing music from another computer and USB peripherals are connected to another. All connected devices can be still switched to any other connected computer like with any other KVM switch.

Channel Selection Options

The AdderView Pro can be switched by using the front panel controls, 3 button mice or selectable keyboard hotkeys. To make selections  RC4 remote switch can also be used. These switching features allow users to quickly reassign connected devices to any of the connected computers.

Broad USB 2.0 High Speed Device Support

A wide range of USB devices such as printers scanners and non common human interface devices can be connected to the AdderView. The great flexibility of this switch allows user to work on one computer, while scanning documents on another, and printing from another computer at the same time. The USB 2.0 switching feature has been thoroughly designed to provide high computer reliability while connecting  and disconnecting USB devices.

Options Port For Control, Synchronization and Upgrade

The AV4PRO-DP can be remotely switched using a 4 button RC4 switching unit through the “Options” port. In order to create a multi video head switching system, two or more units can be switched synchronically by linking “Options” ports. This port is also used for upgrading firmware, which guarantees that the hardware delivers the real value for a long time.
