This listing is for IPD-SM82-EZ-
II-BK
only. Use description below as a general reference.
The IPD-SM82-EZ-II is an 8-inch,two-directional
surface-mount speakers suitable for Internet Protocol
addressable audio networks on the Dante™ platform. It
features one eight-inch polypropylene woofer as well as
one-inch soft dome tweeter enclosed in an injection
mold. The device extends a frequency response of 38Hz –
20kHz (-10dB) plus, uniform broad high-frequency
dispersion by employing SoundTube’s patent BroadBeam
Ring® technology. Routes power, control, and audio to
the unit through a CAT5/CAT6 cable. The other end
connects to the STNet™ Switch, which offers 40W PoE to
each speaker. Use the software to configure the speaker.
If any issues arise while using the speaker, and sends
an immediate report via SoundTube® monitoring software.
Perfect for low-cost applications that require
quality low-frequency response, perfect intelligibility,
and fast installation, the universal IPD-SM82-EZ-II
provides smooth and even coverage appropriate for
nightclubs, aerobic rooms, airports, superstores,
casinos, convention centers, gyms, theme parks,
transportation hubs, arenas, shipping centers, and
stadiums.
There is a constant release of new technologies by
SoundTube Entertainment and MSE Audio Group that
improves audio product performance. The several U.S and
international patents enable copyright for SoundTube
Entertainment innovations which covers SoundTube
enclosure, dispersion, and dome technologies. MSE Audio
Group puts the necessary efforts to defend its patents
to protect SoundTube end users and resellers.

The third party individually gets and verifies every
data for SoundTube speakers. Based on ASTM, ISO and AES
standards, it collects and analyzes all data utilizing
TEF, EASERA, and MLSSA. It compiles full balloon data
like both phase and magnitude into several formats such
as EASE 4.x, GLL, and CLF.
The loudspeaker comprises of an 8 inches low-
frequency transducer as well as a 1.00-inch high-
frequency transducer plus a frequency-dividing network
set in an enclosure with vents. The low-frequency voice
coil diameter is 25.4 mm (1.00 inch). With a silk
material, construct the high-frequency transducer and a
proprietary BroadBeam Ring® waveguide. The following
shall be the performance specifications of a standard
production unit: Frequency response available for use
shall run from 38 Hz – 20 kHz (-10 dB, individually
verified, half space). Utilize 3.5 kHz crossover
frequency for a frequency-dividing network. It
accommodates 40W Power over Ethernet together with PoE
plus and typical PoE, plus the audio signal from an
included network switch, and can be software configured.
With an input of 40W and maximum continuous output of 1
meter shall be 101dB. Use a U-bracket for installation
and safety attachment of the speaker. Also, include and
connect a secondary cable to the speaker chassis for
safety redundancy. Employ the RJ45 Ethernet port for
external wiring input connector. Typical for indoor or
outdoor use with a weather-resistant cover over all wire
connections. Make the enclosure from injection-molded,
High Impact Poly Styrene (HIPS). For durability, make
the grille from powder-coated aluminum. Overall the
maximum cabinet dimensions should be 292 mm (11.49
inches) in height by 457.2 mm (18.00 inches) in width by
254 mm (10 inches) in depth (with no SM bracket). The
device features Allen wrench, port plug, and watertight
strain-relief bushing. Ideal for audio over IP Dante™
applications.
