The HSM-88-4K is an eight by eight cross-point 4K
switch in a close-packed one-RU paddock. It aids High
Definition MI 1.4b for 3D format and aids deep-color to 12
bits per component (36-bit color routing), also helps High
Definition CP, PCM, Dolby, DTS, and HD audio standards. It
may be used with any combination of DVI (PC) or HDMI
(HDTV) sources and displays.
The matrix switch spontaneously performs intelligent
EDID capability mapping between sinks and sources.
Other attributes consist of PRESET save and recall
functions(with user definable PRESET names), High
Definition MI output blanking, High Definition MI audio
extraction, and independent routing to SPDIF outputs,
ability to remove audio from High Definition MI outputs,
complete front panel controls, RS232, and Telnet control.
The HSM-88-4K Genesis Digital matrix is proper for
hometheater, conference room, multimedia presentation,
digital signage in retail space, and other similar
settings.
