The KanexPro HDMMX1616-4K is a 16x16 modular matrix switcher chassis with four (4) input slots and four (4) output slots. Each modular input/output card allows up to four (4) unit connections. Control the HDMMX1616-4K via front panel control, IR, RS232, or TCP/IP connections. It supports high-bandwidth up to 10.2 Gbps.

The optional modular input cards have the following connections: HDMI, VGA, DVI, HDBaseT (with RS232 and two-directional IR), Fiber Optic and analog video with digital scaling through HD15 (VGA-UXGA, RGBS, RGBHV, RGsB, RsGsBs, S-video, Component video, and Composite video). The modular output cards have the following connections: HDMI, DVI, VGA, SDI, HDBaseT and Fiber Optic.

NOTE: The Switcher does not include Cards

The HDMI input cards support stereo audio embedding to allow insertion of analog audio into the digital signal. You can also de- embed stereo audio using the HDMI or HDBaseT output cards. It features advanced EDID management which limits sources to output only stereo audio, while simultaneously replicating the native video data from the connected displays. The system enables you to switch analog audio with the paired digital video, disregarding the need for an extra audio matrix switcher.

The clear button caps shows readable text on the front panel, which user can customize for each installation. Control the switcher via RS232, IR, and TCP/IP provide a broad range of options for 3rd party control systems. It features ten user-defined presets which is an efficient way of configuring the audio and video distribution for common usage patterns. It features 3 RU rack-mountable aluminum enclosure.
