HDMI Input to HDMI Output with Audio Converter
The GefenTV HDMI-to-HDMI Audio Converter is a device that routes an
HD source using HDMI to an HDTV display using HDMI and, also, up to
eight (8) channels of LPCM audio output via eight (8) RCA connectors.
Bitstream is output to an Optical digital connector. Other features
include selecting audio switch between auto mode and manual mode
enabling further selection between 2-channel audio only, multiple
channel bitstream and 7.1 LPCM audio. It supports Deep Color, Lip Sync,
CEC pass-through.
How It Works
Connect an HD source to the GTV-HDMI-2-HDMIAUD Audio Converter's
input with the included HDMI cable. Attach extra HDMI cable from the
output of the unit to a High Definition TV display. Link an optical
audio cable between the Converter and an external amplifier.
Alternately, attach an amplifier to the eight (8) channel RCA
connectors. Also, connect the 5V DC power supply to the locking
connector and an electric outlet.
Note: It is HDMI 1.3, DVI 1.1, and HDCP 1.1 Compliant.
