The Gefen’s EXT-UHDA-HBT2 uses the latest HDBaseTT™ 2.0 technology to extend HDMI via a single CAT-5e cable, up to a distance of 330 feet (100 meters) at 4K. It can extend up to 495 feet (150 meters) of 1080p Full HD and 1920 x 1200 (WUXGA) 8-bit video. The new HDBaseTT™ 2.0 Colligo™ platform provides extra features like a bi-directional audio extension and enables an even more robust and flexible connection than the industry standard HDBaseT™.
The EXT-UHDA-HBT2 supports resolutions up to 4K DCI-Cinema (4096 x 2160 @ 30 Hz 4:4:4) and 4K UltraHD (3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz 4:2:0) plus 7.1 channels of LPCM and High Bit Rate lossless digital audio. It supports HBR formats such as Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby Atmos®, DTS:X™, and DTS-HD Master Audio™. Uses the same cable to extend Ethernet connection for a Smart TV from the source side to the viewing location. RS-232 and bi-directional IR are extended from the Sender to the Receiver to control the Audiovisual source and the display.
TOSLINK® Optical Digital Audio can be sent to the source from the viewing location back, and extend analog audio to the Receiver from the side of the origin. Bi-directional Power Over HDBaseT™ technology extends power to the Receiver from the Sender unit, via the same CAT-5 cable that extends the control and HDMI signals. Only one of the two units requires an external power supply. The POH standard allows compatibility with other POH class-compliant devices. The Gefen Syner-G™ software plus its powerful EDID Management abilities accelerate configuration, performs real-time performance analysis through Link Monitoring, and facilitates in-field firmware updates. The Gefen EXT-UHDA-HBT2 features a low-profile surface-mountable sender and receiver that can be hidden in tight places and it allows Gefen-locking HDMI cables for secure connections.
