The cable can be attached to the wall plate only if it has RCA connectors. The wall plate is color coded for component video connection, but it can also be used to connect any other cable that has RCA connectors.

A great product for custom applications. If you want to hide your cables in the walls, it would be really hard to not use a wall plate. This wall plate features 24k gold plated RCA connectors. AT80COMP6 Wall plate supports 6 RCA connectors. Works with any standard single gang box.
