encoding, the highly professional Atlona OmniStream R-Type
512 (AT-OMNI-512) encodes for two
different HDMI sources up to UHD @ 60 Hz and HDR. It also
includes embedded audio and RS-232 or IR control
passthrough. The HDCP 2.2 compliant OmniStream R-Type 512
is ideal for the latest UHD and emerging UHD as well as HDR
sources. This excellent unit is a component of the
OmniStream R-Type Series of high- quality performance
encoder, designed for flexible distribution of AV over
Gigabit Ethernet in applications used in residential and
light commercial places.
This unit is useful for highly demanding applications such
as gaming, and it is specially equipped to perform visually
lossless compression, pristine-quality picture, and it has
optimization for motion video and extremely low sub-frame
latency from "encode to decode." The half-width rack
encoder-casing makes it possible for a small installation,
ideal for the location of equipment in a centralized high-
density area.
The AT-OMNI-512 simplifies integration switch compatibility
with the plug-and-play network; it does save installation
