The Kramer 616T and 616R are a compact, detachable fiber
optic transmitter (Tx) and receiver (Rx) pair and it is HDTV
Compatible, but it is not HDCP Compliant.
They distribute uncompressed resolutions of up to WQUXGA
(3840x2400 @33Hz vertical refresh rate) or WQXGA(2560x1600
@60Hz) over dual link DVI to a distance of up to 500m (1640
ft) utilizing duplex multimode fiber optic cable with two (2)
LC connectors. The 616T transmitter transforms dual link DVI
signals to optical signals that it extends to the 616R. The
616R reverts the optical signals back to a dual link DVI
signal. Typical for use in Conference rooms and auditoriums,
LED signboards in streets and stadiums, Kiosks with digital
flat panel displays for showing information.
